John "Jack" Pappas is the son of Mr. Pappas and Didi Stone. He is one of the main characters and was the team captain and quarterback for Grant High School's football team. Jack was also one of the members of the "dead parents club" in their highschool. It is revealed that he eventually got married to Madison Pappas. He is portrayed by Greg Finley.

- The only episodes Jack does not appear in are Slice of Life, 4-1-1 and Half Over.
- Jack suggested Grace to have oral sex, but she said it's not a good idea to replace the real sex.

Reason: After Grace finding out Jack cheated on her with Adrian and that he lied to her and said he didn’t sleep with her, Grace broke it off because she didn’t feel like she could trust him anymore.

End: Be My, Be My Baby
Reason: Jack wanted to have oral sex with Grace because for him he thought it did count as sex. She didn’t want to have sex with him so Jack broke it off with Grace.Grace didn't want to have sex because the first time they did she felt guilty cause after she found out her dad died. He, in the end, wanted her back so the true reason of the breakup is unknown. (Found out Episode 13)
Jack and Adrian have sex (which is implied by Ricky Underwood) and Grace breaks up with him, after catching them kiss. They have a rocky relationship, with him being determined to win her back. Afterwards, he meets Madison in Season 2. They date for a while, until they have sex, and then they break up. He gets engaged to Grace in season 5, but they break up. He gets married to Madison Cooperstein Pappas. (Implied by Brenda Hampton)
